Description

Trevor Frances Recruitment is seeking an experienced and driven Sales Manager to join a dynamic and growing organization in the construction tools and equipment industry. This role offers the opportunity to drive sales growth, develop key relationships, and expand market presence in the territory.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Post-secondary education is preferred but not required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or outside sales, within a distributor-focused environment.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and a results-driven work ethic.
  • Proficiency in virtual communication tools, with an emphasis on building face-to-face relationships.
  • Ability to adapt to diverse communication methods and environments.
  • Experience in the construction tools and equipment industry is an asset.
Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain relationships with existing distributor/dealer customers and identify new distributor opportunities.
  • Build and nurture long-term partnerships with key distributor/dealer.
  • Support distributors/dealers with sales planning and execution, providing marketing assistance and strategic implementation.
  • Collaborate with distributors/dealers to ensure products are represented effectively in catalogs, flyers, websites, and digital campaigns.
  • Maintain accurate customer records and follow up in a timely manner.
  • Plan and execute travel schedules to meet with clients and prospects across North East USA.
  • Identify and participate in trade shows and industry events to enhance visibility and generate leads.
  • Submit detailed weekly expense reports.
  • Engage with clients using multiple communication channels, including online platforms, phone calls, and in-person meetings.
