Description

My client are a very well established, UK based manufacturing company. For over 70 years they have been the standard bearers and are widely recognised as the biggest and best in their market. They are now looking to appoint an Area / Territory Sales Manager to cover Hampshire / Surrey and surrounding areas to sell their award winning range of products to both existing and new clients.
You will be responsible for liaising with and developing business within existing clients, following up on all sales leads and identifying new business opportunities where appropriate. You will be visiting customers on site to demonstrate and present products. You will also participate in team meetings and share any relevant product or market knowledge.
Ideally you will possess a minimum of 4 years, field based sales experience and possess a genuine interest towards developing a career in account management. You will also have a high level of self-motivation, and determination to achieve goals and targets. Experience of managing and planning a large territory is highly advantageous as is the experience of selling to Local Authorities / Councils or Education.
