Responsibilities

GENERAL PURPOSE:

Achieve maximum sales profitability, growth and account penetration within an assigned territory by effectively selling The Window Centre’s product lines, including Marvin Windows & Doors.

MAIN JOB TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Promote and secure orders from existing and prospective customers through a relationship-base approach
  • Sell The Window Centre’s product lines to existing and potential new customers and assist them in selecting the best suited solutions for their needs
  • Able to cold call, follow-up leads and generate business within the builder, architectural and retail community
  • Research sources for developing prospective customers and gather meaningful information to determine their potential
  • Develop clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers
  • Expedite the resolution of customer problems and complaints
  • Coordinate sales efforts with marketing, sales management, accounting, logistics and technical service groups
  • Analyze the territory potential and determine the value of existing and prospective customers
  • Supply management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services
  • Keep abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities, advertising and promotional trends through the reading of pertinent literature and consulting with marketing and technical service areas
