JOB SUMMARY

The Territory Sales Specialist will be responsible for driving revenue and market share for BD/Bard in all assigned accounts (hospitals & clinics) under his/her coverage by building strong relationships with key decision makers and stakeholders within each account. The incumbent will also be responsible for executing all promotional activities as well as training on BD/Bard products. He/she will be responsible for identifying tender/rate contract opportunities and working with tender specialists to develop and execute a strategy to win business.

QUALIFICATIONS

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Science, Pharmacy, Engineering or equivalent

Experience

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in medical device sales
  • Experience in vascular access device sales preferred

Skills

  • Excellent communication skills
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Good time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Responsibilities

Sales achievement of assigned accounts

  • Meet or exceed sales quota for all product lines within assigned territory
  • Develop and implement strategies to maximize sales potential within each account while minimizing selling expenses
  • Prepare and submit reports as required
  • Attend conferences and trade shows

Relationship management

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and stakeholders
  • Identify key decision makers and stakeholders within each account and build relationship with them

Training

  • Conduct product presentations to HCPs and hospital staff
  • Train nurses and other allied health professionals on BD/Bard products

Marketing Activities Execution

  • Implement all marketing programs /activities in assigned territory
  • Work with Marketing Communication team to execute promotional activities

Tender Management

  • Identify tender/rate contract opportunities and work with tender specialists to develop and execute a strategy to win business

New Product Launches

  • Be the first to know about new products and be able to articulate value proposition of new products

Ensure compliance to all relevant regulatory requirements
