Reporting to the National Sales Manager, you'll lead the national sales strategy in your territory to hit targets, drive product adoption, and grow market share. As the TSM you will develop and maintain strong clinical and commercial relationships with key stakeholders, supporting appropriate product use through education and in-field support of healthcare professionals, and ensuring a high standard of customer engagement and service. The role also provides valuable market insights to inform business strategy, supports product access and procurement processes, and contributes to the continuous improvement of sales execution and organisational performance. Key Responsibilities Develop and execute a territory business plan aligned to national sales objectives to achieve sales targets. Identify and pursue new business opportunities in both existing and new accounts. Establish, nurture, and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including healthcare professionals (HCPs) such as surgeons, nurses, as well as procurement teams and hospital administrators. Develop and maintain strong technical knowledge of all PolyNovo products by completing assigned training, reviewing clinical literature, and engaging in professional development activities. Stay abreast of clinical developments and best practices in advanced wound care and surgical procedures by participating in educational opportunities and maintaining a strong network within the clinical community. Promote the safe and appropriate use of PolyNovo products by conducting product demonstrations, delivering in-service training, and providing in-field support of HCPs where necessary. Facilitate product evaluations and support HCPs in gaining access to PolyNovo products by providing quotes, assisting with procurement processes, and coordinating with Customer Service and hospital administrative staff. Participate in conferences, trade shows, and other customer engagement activities, including organising or supporting events that may occur after hours or on weekends. Maintain accurate, timely, and detailed records in the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system, ensuring visibility of key account activity, opportunities/deals, and stakeholder interactions. Negotiate and implement consignment agreements in line with business needs. Perform biannual stock counts for consignment and loan stock held in hospitals, as well as stock checks of representative stock. Keep the line manager informed through regular updates and monthly reports, including insights into territory performance, competitor activity, pricing intelligence, and market trends. Collaborate with and support other Territory Sales Managers to achieve overall business objectives and contribute to a positive and high-performance team culture. Provide feedback to the Marketing, Medical, and R&D teams to inform product improvement initiatives, future product development, advocate development and clinical evidence generation. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business/science/healthcare and/or health science e.g., Nursing, Physiotherapy, Pharmacy etc. Experience: 5+ years of sales experience in hospital pharma, theatre consumables or medical devices. 1+ years of working within a theatre experience. Skills / Competencies: Strong sales acumen with demonstrated ability in territory planning, account development, and execution of sales strategies. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging to different stakeholder groups. Proven ability to convey technical information and explain complex clinical or product concepts in a clear and accessible manner. Clinical experience in wound care or a related field is highly desirable; experience selling to plastic surgeons is advantageous. Strong interpersonal skills and a proven ability to build, manage, and sustain effective relationships with HCPs, procurement teams, and internal colleagues. High level of personal initiative, self-motivation, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a small team environment. Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, maintain high standards of documentation, and deliver accurate and timely reporting. Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills with a proactive approach to overcoming challenges and seizing opportunities. High level of personal accountability and professional integrity, with a commitment to delivering high-quality outcomes. Adaptability and flexibility, including availability to travel regularly within the territory (with occasional after-hours or weekend requirements and outside of territory). Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint); experience with CRM and BI systems is advantageous. Why PolyNovo?
