Description
Responds to all walk in business for the TM assigned to that territory – including contract negotiation, contract approvals, deal management and customer follow-up Measure and create metrics and report outcome to Sales Team and Management Responds to sales related calls/enquiries for the sale site and redirect, where appropriate to the TM. Acts as a liaison between HO departments and the customer and TM. Actively researches available sources to identify likely prospects based on alignment with RB services, known business needs, typical customer profiles, business activities, competitive market position, customer challenges, and awareness of a competitive presence for the account Researches and determines the appropriate individual who has decision-making authority and assists in developing strategies to gain their involvement Appropriately manages customer prospecting to connect directly with future customers while not alienating them Generates immediate, compelling customer interest in Ritchie Bros., ensuring our service offers sufficient value to generate a willingness to continue the sales dialogue Initiates exploratory discussions to schedule solid and specific follow-up sales calls in an effort to continue facilitating future business Perform Sales calls, including assisting in getting contracts signed and writing up equipment Schedule A’s, sales blitz’ and appraisals Performs other related duties as assigned by the Territory Manager
