We are looking for an experienced API Automation Tester with strong expertise in Java/JavaScript and hands-on experience with TOSCA. The ideal candidate should be proficient in API testing, scripting in TOSCA and have a solid understanding of API concepts.

REQUIRED SKILLS:

• Strong experience in Java/JavaScript for API automation.
• Proficiency in TOSCA, UI as well API Automation (AS1, AS2, TOSCA API certified)
• In-depth understanding of API concepts, including headers, requests, responses, and parameterization.
• Experience in testing RESTful APIs.
• Ability to mock services for API testing.

NICE-TO-HAVE SKILLS:

• Develop and execute API test scripts using JavaScript in Postman.
• Proficiency in Postman, including scripting with JavaScript.
• Knowledge of API security and authentication mechanisms (OAuth, JWT, etc.).
• Experience with CI/CD tools for API test automation.
• Familiarity with API documentation tools like Swagger or Open API.

• Develop and execute API test scripts using TOSCA API.
• Perform functional, integration, and regression testing for APIs.
• Validate API requests, responses, headers, and parameterization techniques.
• Work with developers to troubleshoot and debug API issues.
• Implement service mocking for test automation.
• Ensure API performance and security best practices.
