You must demonstrate your experience in the following.

• Proficiency in analysing data and writing technical reports presenting results of testing suitable for technical and non-technical audiences.
• Have experience testing complex business systems such as Tax Administration systems

OVERVIEW OF ROLE

We are currently seeking a Test Analyst for our client based in Dublin 2. You will need to have ISTQB certification, Performance testing and LoadRunner experience. You should have proficiency in analysing data and writing technical reports and presenting results of testing that are suitable for technical and non-technical audiences and experience testing complex business systems such as Tax Administration systems.
This will be Monday to Friday role and will be hybrid with two days on-site and three days remote and based out of the client office in Dublin 2.

ROLE & RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Craft sophisticated TruClient scripts for Angular-based applications, showcasing their ability to handle complex, dynamic web interfaces.
• Develop intricate C-based scripts for backend API testing, demonstrating proficiency in low-level programming and API interactions.
• Design multi-protocol test scenarios that seamlessly integrate web, API, and database transactions, illustrating their comprehensive understanding of enterprise architectures.
• Implement advanced correlation and parameterisation techniques to simulate realistic user behaviour, including handling of session variables and dynamic data.
• Configure distributed load generation across heterogeneous environments, including Windows and Linux systems, as well as cloud-based load generators via LoadRunner Cloud.
• Set up comprehensive performance monitoring solutions, integrating native tools like perfmon and UNIX utilities with external platforms such as Kibana or Prometheus.
• Demonstrate expertise in database performance testing, including the ability to craft and execute complex SQL queries across various database systems.
• Utilise LoadRunner’s advanced scripting capabilities, potentially developing custom functions in C to extend the tool’s functionality.
• Perform in-depth analysis of test results using LoadRunner’s built-in tools, and export data for advanced Excel-based analysis including pivot tables and what-if scenarios.
• Showcase the integration of performance testing into CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins or GitLab, highlighting their DevOps proficiency.
• Generate comprehensive, professional-grade performance reports and recommendations using a combination of LoadRunner’s reporting features and custom documentation in Word.
