Your new role

We are seeking a Tester with experience in both manual and automation testing to ensure the quality, reliability, and performance of cloud-based applications and data solutions. The role will involve test planning, execution, defect management, and collaboration with development and business teams in an AWS environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and execute manual and automated test cases for functional, integration, and system testing.
• Validate business and technical requirements for AWS-hosted applications and services.
• Develop and maintain automated test scripts to improve test coverage and efficiency.
• Perform API, UI, and end-to-end testing across cloud-based applications.
• Identify, document, and track defects through to resolution.
• Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and stakeholders to support quality delivery.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies, test planning, and release activities.

Required Skills & Experience

• Proven experience in functional testing with a mix of manual and automation testing.
• Experience testing applications and services hosted on AWS.
• Hands-on experience with automation tools.
• Experience with API testing tools.
• Strong understanding of SDLC, STLC, test methodologies, and defect life cycle management.
• Experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or other test management tools.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

What you'll need to succeed

• Knowledge of AWS services and cloud-native testing approaches.
• Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.
• Experience working in Agile environments.
• AWS certification or relevant cloud testing experience.
