About the role

We are looking for an energetic and highly motivated Senior Quality Assurance Analyst to work as part of a small team responsible for the quality and integrity of national VET activity data being submitted to NCVER. The position will be responsible for implementing contemporary data quality practices, providing subject matter expertise on the national VET data collections to internal and external stakeholders, and contribute to the outcomes arising from the data quality action plan.

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to foster productive relationships with all stakeholders to ensure the delivery of high-quality data-related advice and services.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently, manage time appropriately, prioritise workloads, and resolve conflicts with constructive approach.
• Experience with quality assurance of data through analysis, identification of relevant insights, and recommendation of appropriate action including awareness of any impact on downstream business areas or stakeholders.
• Knowledge of contemporary data quality assurance framework, policies and procedures.
• Relevant qualification and/or certification, or equivalent experience, in a discipline such as mathematics, statistics or data management.
• Knowledge of the VET sector will be highly regarded.
