JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY

We are looking for a Test Automation Architect to drive the test automation development for our patient monitoring devices. Ideally, you are an expert in diverse aspects of test automation, with experience testing integrated and embedded devices in a regulated, safety critical product development environment. You will be part of our system test automation development team, whose focus is the development of system test automation solutions that test our product requirements and product reliability and performance. You will be responsible for decisions concerning definition of test automation strategies & roadmaps, architecture, and an active participant in planning, coordinating, implementing designs solutions. The job requires a blend of technical know-how to get things done, as well as strategic thinking and leadership to sell and drive initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree or higher in Computer Engineering, or equivalent
  • Significant experience in leading technical test development in a complex system program with multiple processors in the data chain
  • Broad knowledge of test methodologies, principles, tools across different levels of the software stack (testing SW, GUI, embedded devices, HW, integrated systems)
  • Strong programming skills, specifically in Python, Linux
  • Excellent at problem-solving and strategic thinking
  • Fluency in English, both spoken and written

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Working knowledge with configuration management tools, continuous integration and DevOps systems
  • Hands-on HW/SW integration skills is considered as an asset.
  • Strong presentation, communication and influencing skills
  • Natural self-starter with team-player attitude and ability to take ownership
  • Open and curious mindset, willing to approach the challenges in cutting-edge technology
Responsibilities
  • Define and implement test automation strategies, roadmaps, methodologies, and infrastructure across multiple projects, considering the existing automation capabilities and test suites as well as future needs and technological developments, specifically for test automation development for integration and system-level testing
  • Develop architecture and designs for robust, scalable, and reusable test automation solutions for both functional requirements testing as well as reliability testing needs
  • Ensure medical regulatory compliance of the test automation concept and tools used in design verification
  • Lead a team of test engineers to build quality test scripts and solutions that meet regulatory standards while guiding software engineers to build testable, robust, and good quality software
  • Design, Develop, Document, and debug of test system, test procedures, and design SW interfaces for the test system
  • Drive technical excellence through mentoring, feedback, fostering culture of continuous improvement, ownership, and collaboration within the team
