AEROSPACE EXPERIENCE MANDATORY

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Software Test Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the quality and performance of software applications, particularly in the aerospace and defense sectors. This role requires a strong background in software development, systems engineering, and mechanical engineering principles. The Software Test Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop test plans, execute testing procedures, and document results to ensure compliance with industry standards.

EXPERIENCE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proficiency in software development practices with experience in avionics or military applications preferred.
  • Familiarity with FEA (Finite Element Analysis), GD&T (Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing), LabVIEW, MATLAB, Simulink, and Pro/ENGINEER is advantageous.
  • Understanding of aviation industry standards including ASME codes & standards.
  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or manufacturing is a plus.
  • Strong mathematical skills with an emphasis on data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Knowledge of sensors and assembly processes related to airframe systems is beneficial.
