TEST AUTOMATION ENGINEER

BearingPoint is growing quickly, and we are currently hiring junior automation testers to join our QA team.

WHAT SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE SHOULD YOU HAVE?

  • Passionate about technology, testing and delivering top quality software products.
  • At least 5 years’ experience in test automation.
  • Practical experience of test automation including tooling selection and test framework design.
  • Hands-on technical experience of building both API and UI test automation frameworks in a range of languages and technologies such as jUnit, Selenium, Serenity BDD (Cucumber, Rest Assured) Robot Framework and JMeter.
  • Implementation, maintenance and execution of automated test suites to ensure thorough testing of requirements in a fast-paced Agile environment with an emphasis on BDD and BDD automated tools.
  • Disciplined reporting, tracking, and resolution of product defects. Implementation of reporting technologies, integrated with automated test runs.
  • Implementation and management of automated test scripts in CI/CD pipelines.
  • Experience carrying out code reviews and adhering to best practice guidelines.
  • Clear understanding of defect management lifecycle.
  • Hands on knowledge of SQL.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages (Shell, Perl, Python etc.).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills who excels when working in a multi-disciplinary agile team.
