The organization operates as a transmission system operator, ensuring reliable and sustainable electricity supply. You’ll work alongside both contingent workers and internal staff to help build a sustainable, green, and reliable energy infrastructure. Job Description Service Description: The mission includes the following tasks: Writing test plans and scenarios: Create test plans and scenarios based on existing documentation and functionalities. Recommend which tests to execute (e.g., non-regression tests) based on acceptance criteria and identified risks. Test scenarios include functional, non-functional (volume, performance, security, data quality), integration, and non-regression testing. All documentation is in English and must be accessible to European readers with basic English knowledge. Preparing test data: Select or create test data before executing scenarios. Executing test scenarios: Execute test plans/scenarios and document results (success/failure) with evidence (logs, screenshots). Work efficiently and pragmatically within team planning. Test automation: In coordination with the team, select test cases for automation. Implement and maintain automated test suites. Execute automated tests regularly. Defect follow-up: Report and track defects using bug-tracking tools. Update and maintain test documentation with results. Collaborate with developers and project leads to achieve the required quality level. Responsible for giving the “Go” for deployment from test to acceptance environments and reproducing any defects found in acceptance or production. Task distribution: 30% test specification 30% test automation 30% test execution & defect follow-up 10% test reporting Qualifications Requirements: Proven experience in test plan/design/scenario writing. Experience in test automation and/or programming/scripting (e.g., Python) or equivalent logic (can explain in pseudo code). Basic knowledge of databases (SQL and NoSQL) and queries. Experience working in Agile/Scrum teams. Experience with RobotFramework is an asset. English proficiency required (team and documentation language); knowledge of French and/or Dutch is a plus. Ability to work autonomously and in a team. Critical thinking and willingness to challenge. Understanding of basic IT concepts (service/client applications, web services, APIs, protocols, front end, back end, etc.). Experience with RabbitMQ is a major plus. Experience with DevOps tickets and security testing is a plus. Soft skills: Active, creative, autonomous, out-of-the-box thinker, result-driven, pragmatic, resilient.
