Location: Trivandrum (Hybrid ) Experience: 1–2 Years Employment Type: Full-time Company: Mystique Infotech Pvt Ltd About the Role We are looking for a motivated Test Automation Engineer (1–2 years experience) who can contribute to building reliable and scalable automated test suites across our products and client projects. You will collaborate with developers, QA leads, and product owners to ensure high-quality releases through systematic automation and strong testing practices. Key Responsibilities • Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts for web and API applications. • Develop and execute test cases using modern automation tools and frameworks. • Integrate test suites into CI/CD pipelines for continuous testing. • Perform functional, regression, and integration testing. • Identify, triage, and track bugs using tools like Jira. • Collaborate with engineering teams to understand business requirements and edge cases. • Contribute to building reusable utilities, test data, and modular frameworks. • Continuously optimize automation coverage and framework performance. Required Technical Skills • Strong programming knowledge in Java or JavaScript or TypeScript. • Hands-on experience with at least one automation tool: • Selenium / Playwright / Cypress / Karate • Experience with Cucumber / BDD frameworks. • Strong understanding and hands-on experience in REST API testing using: • Postman, RestAssured, or similar tools. • Familiarity with Git and version control workflows. • Understanding of software testing life cycle (STLC) and agile methodologies. Good to Have • Experience with performance testing tools (K6 / JMeter). • Exposure to cloud environments (GCP/AWS). • Basic SQL knowledge for backend validations. • Experience with Docker (optional but beneficial). Soft Skills • Good communication and documentation ability. • Problem-solving mindset and attention to detail. • Ability to learn quickly and adapt to new technologies. • Team player with a strong sense of ownership.
