THE POSITION

We are looking for a Test Automation Engineer to join our cybersecurity company’s team based in Hungary. As part of our team, you will play a crucial role in developing cutting-edge software solutions aimed at protecting critical infrastructure from cyber threats. You will collaborate with a diverse and skilled team of engineers, security experts, and researchers to build intuitive and robust user interfaces for our cybersecurity products. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the security of critical infrastructure and make a meaningful impact in the cybersecurity domain.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

  • At least 2 years of experience at writing automated tests
  • Practical knowledge of designing and developing test automation solutions
  • Quality mindset
  • Solid knowledge in programming languages such as JavaScript and TypeScript
  • Excellent problem-solving and mathematical skills
  • Highly accurate and detail-oriented
  • Good English communication for both speaking and writing
  • Commitment to learning and openness to new technologies
  • It’s nice to have experience in CI/CD environments
  • ISTQB certificate is appreciated
Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development of a plan to integrate automated testing within the testing process
  • Enable the transition of testing from a manual to an automated approach
  • Help define testing/CI/CD strategies of product teams
  • Create automated test reporting and metrics collection
  • Keep testcases up to date and refactor them
  • Collaborating and sharing knowledge with QA Team members and Software Developers to develop solutions
