Hybrid, Fixed Term role with 6 months to start and extension of another 6 months.

We are currently looking for a highly skilled and motivated Test Automation Lead to lead the automation testing efforts for our Data Transformation/ETL program. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of automation frameworks and tests to ensure the completeness, accuracy, and timeliness of our data processing systems. This pivotal role involves close collaboration with the test management team, developers, and business analysts to create efficient, scalable, and reliable test automation solutions.
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
8+ years of experience in test automation, with a focus on data and ETL processes.
Strong experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks and strategies. (not UI/API test automation frameworks, but data related frameworks)
Proficiency in SQL and experience with database technologies.
Hands-on experience with test automation tools and scripting languages (e.g., Python).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
PREFERRED SKILLS:
Experience with cloud-based data warehousing solutions, such as AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, or Azure Synapse Analytics.
Knowledge of Agile methodologies and experience working in an Agile environment.
Certifications in Quality Assurance or Test Automation (e.g., ISTQB Advanced Level Test Automation Engineer).
