At our banking client, we enable our teams to live DevOps practices day in, day out. An important part of this effort is to equip our delivery teams with a state-of-the-art platform enabling them to build, test, release, deploy, operate and monitor our software in a secure and efficient way.

We are looking for a Platform Engineer for our Testing Platform product team. The product is part of an agile release train, focusing on optimizing and accelerating our application delivery teams' journey from idea to production.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

  • Own the bank’s global automation testing platform as a member of a product team.
  • Manage the platform lifecycle from design to production.
  • Closely collaborate with application teams: collect feedback and relentlessly improve the product offering.
  • Drive the adoption of "testing-as-code" by building an API-first platform with strong CI/CD integrations.
  • Provide test data generation self-service capabilities to application teams

What do we expect from you?

· Proven track record in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Experience in working with test automation frameworks and engineering tools, with hands-on involvement in performance, functional or end-to-end testing.
  • Knowledge of open-source or commercial testing tools and standards such as k6, Playwright, Selenium or similar.
  • Experience as full-stack software or platform engineer with strong emphasis on Java or TypeScript.
  • Experience integrating testing solutions with CI/CD platforms, particularly GitLab, and issuing test reports into ticketing systems like Jira.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
  • Good communication, planning and teamwork skills.
  • Motivated to work in an agile team and commonly reaching ambitious goals.

Work Location

Hybrid position in Madrid (3 days at client´s office, Sol area, next to the underground).

Work Schedule

Business hours (40 hours weekly with 1 hour for lunch).
