Responsibilities Test development and execution - The Test Engineer will be responsible for developing and performing test procedures based on system requirements. This includes creating comprehensive test cases and executing both functional and non-functional tests during Sprint execution. Requirements analysis – the Test Engineer will be able to read and interpret requirements provided by systems engineers. Agile methodology – participation in Agile developmental practices and work within Sprint cycles Test automation – There will be a focus on automating test efforts. The Test Engineer will be able to write unit tests and support the creation and maintenance of test automation frameworks. Documentation and reporting - the Test Engineer will be responsible for documenting test results, reporting defects, and maintaining test artifacts in Agile product management tools. Collaboration – this position requires collaboration with the development team to shift testing left for early defect detection, which is a key practice in modern software development. Helping with testing and validation processes Contributing to technical documentation Assisting with data analysis and reporting Qualifications Required: Must be a U.S. Citizen Bachelor of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) 3+ years of relevant experience Experience in writing test cases from requirements Experience working with requirements, verification, and validation Experience in developing test procedures Desired: Master of Science in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) Experience working with systems-of-systems Exceptional verbal, written and presentation skills Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Ability to work on tight deadlines in a fast-paced and dynamic environment Effective interpersonal and communication skills – both written and verbal - ________________________________________________________________________________________ What You Can Expect: A culture of integrity.
