We deliver essential technology services to our customers in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interests of our nation. SecuriGence, a wholly owned subsidiary of Chenega MIOS, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer in the Melbourne, FL / Patrick SFB area. The Test Engineer will be part of a dynamic team that provides IT support, maintenance, operations, logistics, and engineering services to help ensure the secure, reliable, and uninterrupted availability of INL/A Management Information Systems. This role will provide quality assurance support to the SecuriGence team supporting the Department of State, Bureau of International Narcotics, and Law Enforcement Affairs Office of Aviation (INL/A), providing essential technology services in support of their missions to sustain the national security and economic interests of our nation.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • 3+ years of related test experience.
  • Secret clearance required.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:

  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Experience with testing platforms (JMeter/BlazeMeter, Selenium).
  • Experience with UI/UX.
  • Experience with functional, stress, spike, duration, and automation testing.
  • Experience with scripting (Bash, BAT, PowerShell, Python, Groovy).
  • Knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Experience with bug tracking.
Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with developers, business analysts, and project managers to create comprehensive test designs and plans.
  • Manage testing activities and provide visibility into test progress and results.
  • Collaborate closely with development teams to reproduce, analyze, and debug issues, as well as ensure that defects are resolved prior to software releases.
  • Provide feedback on product quality and suggest process improvements to ensure consistent delivery of high-quality software.
  • Create formal test plans and test reports for customers.
  • Properly judge test outcomes to determine pass/fail status, clearly document findings in Test Reports, and document bugs discovered during testing.
  • Create test environments and configurations.
  • Map test cases to requirements for traceability.
  • Travel may be required for special projects. (CONUS, OCONUS)
  • Other duties as assigned.
