Do you want to contribute to truck interiors used daily by drivers throughout Europe? As a Test Engineer, you will work in a modern R&D center on smart, comfortable, and sustainable products. You combine engineering, research, and improvement, and see your results reflected directly.

You work together with engineers and production colleagues to thoroughly test products and processes before they hit the road. With your initiative and accuracy, you provide insight into test results and help develop solutions that demonstrably perform better.

• You create test samples, draw up test plans, and maintain test data in a structured manner.
• You perform strength, lifespan, comfort, and quality tests.
• You resolve minor malfunctions on test machines or call for help in a timely manner.
• You analyze results, including with Minitab, and identify relevant trends.
• You report findings and contribute in a results-oriented manner to develop better products, processes, and test setups.

Job requirements

You are curious about the operation and quality of technical products and want to develop yourself within mechanical engineering and engineering. You work meticulously, critically check your results, and work with colleagues to find a practical solution when a test does not go as expected.

• You are currently enrolled in or have nearly completed: MBO Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a similar program.
• You have 1 to 3 years of relevant experience or demonstrable practical experience in testing, engineering, or product development.
• You can report and communicate clearly in both Dutch and English.
• You show initiative, think innovatively, and remain eager to learn about test methods and automotive applications.
• You work in a quality-oriented, solution-oriented, and accurate manner, both independently and in collaboration with others.

Employment conditions

You will be given the opportunity to build a solid technical foundation within an experienced engineering team. Your work is highly varied: from test preparation and analysis to process improvement. In return, you will receive an attractive and comprehensive package.

• A gross monthly salary of €2,600 to €3,200, depending on experience and knowledge.
• 25 vacation days and 13 ADV days.
• A 13th month and a travel allowance.
• Good secondary employment conditions in accordance with the Collective Labour Agreement for the Small Metal Industry.
• Opportunities for advancement and the prospect of a permanent contract.
