Our customer is a market leader which fulfills development, production and integration of high-performance Infotainment systems and Telematics control units for the Automotive industry (Tier-1 supplier for car manufacturers).

SKILLS

Must have
Experience in creating and executing test cases.
Understanding of SW and HW architecture or various platform variants.
Proven experience in testing different Telematics domains like: NAD, eSIM, eCall, OTA, GNSS, Positioning, 4G/5G Connectivity, BT/BLE, WiFi, Vehicle Networking (CAN, Ethernet), Diagnosis, Networking.
Understanding of functional and non-functional software testing, of software test life cycle, and various test design techniques.
Bug tracking tools usage and experience in defect management.
Test management tools usage.
Working knowledge with Vector tools environment (CANoe, CANoe.Car2X, …)
Working knowledge in Jira, Confluence, versioning systems (or equivalent tools).
Working knowledge of computer hardware and networking.
At least one year in a product engineering or test engineering role in an embedded environment, preferably in automotive or telecom.
Good verbal and written communication skills (English).
Creative problem-solver, capable of creating and reproducing interesting software bugs.
Nice to have
Vehicle network experience (CAN, Ethernet)
ISTQB Foundation Level certification or equivalent
Working knowledge of shell scripting (working knowledge of multiple scripting languages).
HW experience of configuring different setups.

Reviews, analyzes, and understands system requirements specifications and creates manual test cases, by using the appropriate test design techniques.
Performs software validation for one or more domains of new Telematics Unit based product (Cellular Network, eSIM, Wi-Fi, BT/BLE Connectivity, Positioning, Diagnostics, Networking, Vehicle Network (CAN, Ethernet) on test benches and test vehicles.
Creates Test cases and Test specification.
Performs test preparation and execution (including test drives).
Performs manual software testing. Performs session-based exploratory testing.
Identifies issues and transfers them into the issue tracking system with supporting log files and data.
Verifies the fixes for the software issues.
Records, processes, and analyzes data with PC based tools and test instrumentation.
Documents testing and creates test reports.
Collaborates with different departments
Provides technical support for the resolution of various customer and interdepartmental issues.
