Basic Qualifications Requires a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, or a related Science, Technology or Mathematics field. Also requires 2+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 6 months of job-related experience. CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS: Ability to obtain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance is required at time of hire. Working successfully within a team, the Senior Test Engineer will execute the test approach and document system verification throughout the engineering development lifecycle. This will entail assisting in the following areas: Generation of system test work products by applying the appropriate standards, processes, procedures and tools Development of test and diagnostic programs, designs test fixtures and equipment, and completes specifications and procedures for new products Development of functional, environmental, operational, and/or performance tests on hardware, software, and systems Design, development and implementation of cost-effective methods of testing and troubleshooting of hardware, software and systems for all phases of product development and manufacturing What you’ll experience: Technologies that aren’t just top-notch, they often out-pace the competition A team of bold thinkers committed to exploring what’s next Opportunities to gain new knowledge - as it’s discovered What you bring to the table: A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field (or equivalent experience) plus a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience; or Master's degree Solid knowledge in use and understanding of test engineering concepts, principles, and theories Solid knowledge and experience with object-oriented programming, system processes and scripting languages Openly proposes ideas that enhance productivity and efficiency, solicits input, and optimizes solutions What sets you apart: Experience with platform system integration testing at customer facilities Hardware testing at the component level using a variety of network and RF test equipment Demonstrated problem solving and troubleshooting skills #LI-Hybrid Salary Note This estimate represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors (geographic location, etc.).
