WHAT IS THE JOB ABOUT?

Grundfos is seeking a Test Engineer. The Test Engineer is responsible for ensuring that all pump products meet the high standards of the Company and all customer specifications. This position reports directly to the Production Manager and will operate on a daily basis out of the Brookshire, TX facility.
Relocation for this position cannot be supported and qualified candidates must be authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for employment-based visa sponsorship now or in the future. Your main responsibilities:

• Direct daily operations of the testing laboratories to ensure accurate and timely performance testing of production pumps.
• Support new product development testing to ensure new products meet design performance requirements and get to market in a timely manner.
• Generate performance test data reports and performance curves.
• Maintain, upgrade and improve test lab to include automated data acquisition equipment.
• Responsible for tests and equipment meeting Hydraulic Institute, API, or other requirements.
• Review sales orders to verify hydraulic selection, identify test requirements, set-ups, etc.
• Requires understanding of centrifugal pump performance, hydraulics, computers, various test instrumentation including pressure flow, temperature and vibration.
• Support company quality system, in accordance with ISO 9001.
• Perform the job in a way that meets all applicable laws, regulations and EHS requirements.
• Comply with the GCB Environmental, Health and Safety System requirements.
