Description JOB SUMMARY Under limited supervision, this position develops and executes test plans, methods, and procedures to ensure ENVE products meet engineering and customer requirements. Designs and configures test equipment and fixtures, conducts product validation, and analyzes results to drive design and process improvements. Collaborates with global R&D, Quality, and Manufacturing teams to harmonize testing standards and ensure compliance with international requirements. Generates detailed technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to support product development, certification, and continuous improvement initiatives. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS Designs and develops test methods, procedures, and equipment to validate product performance and compliance. Executes and analyzes test data including ride test data acquisition (e.g., suspension analysis, accelerometers, strain gauges, etc.), interprets results and recommends design, material, or process changes. Leads root cause investigations and develops corrective/preventive actions for product failures. Collaborates with global engineering teams to harmonize test protocols and ensure compliance with international standards. Prepares and presents technical reports, proposals, and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams. SECONDARY FUNCTIONS Provides technical guidance and training to Test Lab Technicians. Maintains and expands test lab capabilities, equipment, and documentation systems. Supports certification, regulatory, and customer validation testing requirements. Champions continuous improvement and innovation in testing processes. Maintain a safe and orderly work environment. Adhere to all Company policies and procedures. This is a full-time position working a 9/80 or 5x8 schedule Monday through Friday. Regular onsite attendance is expected and required. However, this position may be required to work extended hours, alternate shifts, or additional days as job duties demand. Requirements EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE (R) = Required (P) = Preferred (Equivalent combinations will be considered) (R) Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Materials, or related engineering field. (R) 1+ years’ engineering experience in testing, validation, or product development. (P) Experience in composites, cycling, or sporting goods industries; knowledge of ISO/ASTM test standards. (R) Familiarity with global testing standards and regulatory requirements. (R) Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; ability to use computer/tablet/keyboard. (R) Ability to operate and troubleshoot test equipment and use hand tools. (R) Ability to read/write/speak English is necessary. (R) Knowledge of manufacturing methods and SOPs. (P) Knowledge of continuous improvement practices and principles. (R) Ability to read and interpret a variety of routine engineering design drawings as well as write test protocols and written reports. (P) Familiarity with mechanical functions of machines/equipment, understanding of testing machines, testing protocols/practices, tool, and hardware functions. (P) Familiarity with new product development, technology transfer and composite materials a plus. SKILLS (LANGUAGE, MATHEMATICAL, REASONING, OTHER) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability to interpret complex data. Proficiency in test software, instrumentation, and data acquisition systems including programming capabilities (e.g., LabView, VBA, etc.). Effective communication skills, including technical report writing and presentations. Ability to collaborate across global, cross-functional teams. Ability to read and comprehend a variety of SOPs and/or routine engineering design drawings. Self-motivated, able to work independently and efficiently with general instruction and limited supervision to meet deadlines. Strong attention to detail and a desire to create perfect products is essential. PHYSICAL / VISUAL REQUIREMENTS Must be able to work in a loud environment (test lab/manufacturing environment), which includes exposure to loud noises, dust, and machinery as well as an office environment. Regularly required to talk and hear. Required to wear hearing protection when machinery is in operation. Requires standing for long periods of time, climbing up/down ladders, walking, bending, sliding, grasping, sitting, pulling, pushing, stooping, wiping, and stretching are generally required to perform the functions of this position. Ability to reach above shoulder height as well as below the waist and periodically walk to other areas of the building and production facility as necessary. Must be able to perform safe execution of repetitive motions, including repetitively lifting/carrying tools and assemblies weighing up to 60 lbs.
