Description
Test Program Development & Optimization: Design, develop, and debug test programs for new and existing PCBAs on ICT (e.g., Keysight 3070, Teradyne, Genrad) and Flying Probe (e.g., Takaya) test platforms. Generate test plans, procedures, and documentation (e.g., test specifications, troubleshooting guides, repair instructions). Collaborate with design engineers to implement Design for Test (DFT) principles, ensuring testability of new product designs. Continuously analyze test data to identify trends, optimize test coverage, improve First Pass Yield (FPY), and reduce No Defect Found (NDF) occurrences. Implement Engineering Change Orders (ECOs) and Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) related to testing processes. Coordinate the design, fabrication, and maintenance of ICT "bed-of-nails" fixtures and Flying Probe setups. Work with external vendors for fixture procurement and ensure adherence to specifications. Troubleshooting & Failure Analysis: Perform in-depth troubleshooting and debugging of PCBA failures identified during ICT and Flying Probe testing. Collaborate with production and quality teams to implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPAs). Support manufacturing operations by quickly resolving tester downtime and intermittent failure issues. Perform routine maintenance, calibration, and verification of ICT and Flying Probe test equipment. Provide technical guidance and training to test technicians and production operators on test procedures and equipment operation. Evaluate new test technologies and methodologies to enhance testing capabilities and efficiency. Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field. Minimum of 2-5 years of hands-on experience in PCBA testing, with significant experience in both In-Circuit Testing (ICT) and Flying Probe Testing (FPT). Experience in the PCBA manufacturing environment is highly preferred. Strong understanding of electronic circuits, components (active and passive), and PCBA manufacturing processes. Proficiency in developing test programs for common ICT platforms (e.g., Keysight 3070, Teradyne, Genrad) and Flying Probe testers (e.g., Takaya). Familiarity with test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies. Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics, Gerber files, and Bill of Materials (BOM). Experience with statistical analysis and SPC software. Understanding of IPC standards (e.g., IPC-A-610) is a plus. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Effective verbal and written communication skills (in English and local language if applicable). Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Strong interpersonal skills for collaborating with diverse teams. N/A N/A
