Description

Responsibilities include * Ability to understand the functionality of the application under test * Identify and define the test specifications based on the requirements * Needs to have good understanding of testing and defect triage processes * Prior work experience in Agile scrum or SAFe is an advantage * Testing Tools: Xray, ReadyAPI, Microfocus ALM, JIRA, trackSpace * Knowledge of backend service testing with ReadyAPI or Postman, API debugging/root cause analysis * Knowledge of microservice architecture and cloud database * Knowledge of CI/CD pipeline (GIT etc) * Experienced and exposed to Test Execution at different test levels (viz., SAT, SIT, UAT etc) Responsibilities for the Role: * Analyze user stories and design/develop Test Models and Test cases * Experience with execution of automated scripts using in trend automation tools, LCNC frameworks * Proficient with databases, good knowledge of writing SQL * Execute automated backend regression test suites in pipeline for iterations and PROD releases * Present tested feature within iteration reviews and system demos * Attend and actively participate in PI Plannings * Participate all sprint planning, pre- and post sprint release ceremonies * Meet with developers and BAs for quick hand-off demonstrations and share the iteration demos with the devs * Onshore experience-interacting with customer, UAT experience is added advantage
