We are looking to add an experienced Test Engineer III to our team.

In this role the Test Engineer III is responsible for working with developers, product managers, and the government client to ensure the functionality, reliability, accessibility, and security of a web application and its supporting infrastructure. The Test Engineer III is responsible for:

  • Developing thorough test plans for systems to ensure a smooth transition from the development environment to the production environment, including test case creation and execution in order to validate end-to-end system functionality.
  • Provide integrated QA and QC services, load and performance testing, independent validation and verification services, and Accessibility testing.
  • Improve and sustain a cloud-based microservices infrastructure.
  • Enhance the API, content delivery, analytics, and user management capabilities.
  • Maintain Section 508 accessibility compliance.
  • Provide CI/CD development using Agile SCRUM methodology
  • Support up to 1 million users and 25,000 concurrent streaming devices

The Test Engineer II should have experience in consistently meeting deadlines in an interactive environment that includes daily communication with developers and business users.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • BA/BS degree from an accredited College/University in the applicable field of services is preferred. 4 additional years of relevant experience will be accepted in lieu of degree.
  • 1 to 4 years’ experience:
    o Work with small teams in dynamic environments, with high client interaction
    o Strong analytical and technical skills to identify and troubleshoot issues
    o Develop and execute software test plans
    o Identify and facilitate issue resolution with functional and technical teams
    o Create and execute test cases and test scripts from requirements
    o Document and communicate test results
    o Strong written and verbal communication
    o Conduct demonstrations and trainings to support the system users
    o Ability to participate in all phases of the testing lifecycle
    o Demonstrated knowledge of test methodologies (regression, functional, integration, performance, accessibility etc.)
    o Complete understanding of SDLC framework and Agile methodology
    o Interact with business users, business analysts and systems analysts to understand requirements and enhancement requests
    o Experience conducting functional, regression, accessibility (Section 508 / WCAG 2.2 AA), performance, and integration testing
    o Accessibility testing certification (508 Trusted Tester, W3C, IAAP, WAS)
    o Experience with automated, accessibility, performance, and API testing tools
    o Experience supporting user acceptance testing
    o U.S. Citizen
    o Ability to obtain a favorable fitness determination for a Federal Public Trust Clearance
