Test Engineer Industrialisation / Series Transition (m/f/d)
Location: Waldbüttelbrunn | Department: Test Engineering / Series Transition | Full-time
As a Test Engineer for Industrialization / Series Production Transition (m/f/d), you will test and validate the functions of our electronic locking and access control systems and support the transition of new products into series production. You will work closely with hardware, firmware, and software development, analyze malfunctions, and contribute to ensuring the quality and readiness of our products for series production.
How you can support us:
- Execution, evaluation and documentation of functional and system tests on electronic products
- Verification of firmware functions, communication interfaces, and the interaction of hardware, firmware, and software
- Testing and validation of functions such as transponder recognition, RFID and BLE communication, mobile apps and device configurations
- Creation, maintenance and execution of test cases and test procedures
- Analysis and documentation of malfunctions as well as support in finding the causes
- Participation in the technical validation and series production transition of new products
- Close collaboration with development, quality assurance and production
- Support with approvals, certifications and regulatory requirements
What you bring:
- Technical background (e.g., training or studies in electrical engineering, computer science, mechatronics or similar)
- Interest in technical systems (hardware, firmware and software)
- Prior experience in testing, validation, or in a technical environment is advantageous, but not a requirement.
- Analytical, structured and independent working style
- Teamwork skills and enjoyment of interdisciplinary collaboration
- Excellent German and English skills, both spoken and written.
Optional:
- Experience with radio technologies such as BLE, RFID, NFC or similar communication systems
- Knowledge in the area of normative or regulatory requirements
- Interest in compliance and certification topics
