Description

Key Responsibilities:·      Plan and execute product validation, performance, durability, reliability, and field-testing activities.·      Develop and maintain test procedures, methods, acceptance criteria, and documentation.·      Design and implement instrumentation, sensors, data acquisition systems, and test fixtures required to gather high-quality data.·      Analyze and interpret test results to identify product risks, validate performance, and support engineering decisions.·      Investigate and reproduce product failures, determine root causes, and verify corrective actions through testing.·      Communicate findings through clear, accurate, and decision-ready reports, presentations, and recommendations.·      Collaborate with Design Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality Service, and Product teams to define validation requirements and resolve technical issues.·      Work directly with farmers to train them in the operation of the test machines, and to obtain their feedback on performance and reliability issues they see and observe.·      Perform maintenance and repair activities on large farm implements to ensure they remain operational and testing can continue.·      Travel up to 20% of the time, sometimes for 10-14 days at a time, to remote locations to test farm implements in the environment they are commonly used in. ·      Assist in prototype build and test setup.·      Other duties as assigned.What Sets You Apart?You are an individual that has:·      Engineering degree or Technological Diploma (Mechanical or Agricultural preferred)·      Experience in testing or working with heavy equipment·      Strong mechanical aptitude and hands-on skills·      Strong troubleshooting and observation skills·      Good communication skills·      Ability to travel within Canada and the US·      Experience operating agricultural equipment is an assetWhy K-Hart is Your Next Career MoveAt K-Hart, you’ll join a passionate team in an industry that makes a tangible difference. Here is what we offer:·      Impactful work: Be part of a smaller company that is focused on sustainability and innovation and where you can see and feel your contribution make a difference. ·      Career Growth: opportunities to learn, develop, and expand your skill set in agriculture·      Work with leadership and teammates who value your input and ideas.·      Be a part of a team who is committed to fostering an environment of optimism, community, and respect, ensuring a great experience for our employees and our customers.·      Group Health and Insurance Benefits, including medical, dental and vision coverage·      Employee Assistance Program·      Paid sick and personal/family leave
