THIS IS A CONTINGENT POSITION BASED UPON CONTRACT AWARD

KBR is seeking a highly motivated Test Engineer to join our cross-functional team developing new verification and validation capabilities for AI/ML algorithms in support of our customer and then applying those capabilities in testing of third-party solutions.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer/Electronic Engineering or Computer Science or equivalent field
  • 3+ years of testing of scientific algorithms.
  • TS/SCI with willingness to sit for a Poly
  • Experience working on (applicable to algorithm testing):
  • Test plan designs
  • Test resource requirements
  • Test scenarios
  • Performance analysis
  • Production qualification testing
  • Requirements testing
  • Post-mission test analysis and reporting
  • Experience developing and briefing technical material to a broad audience in meetings such as Working Groups (WGs), Integrated Product Teams (IPTs), Technical Interchange Meetings, Peer Reviews, Test Readiness Reviews, Program Management Reviews, etc.
  • 2+ years testing in the DoD/IC
Responsibilities
  • Gain and understanding of the specifications and requirements for the algorithms being tested.
  • Develop test plans and then execute tests to ensure the algorithms meet those requirements.
  • Assist the cross-functional team in creating and maintaining tools and scripts to automate testing processes, improving efficiency and repeatability.
  • Investigate and (potentially) help resolve issues and failures identified during testing.
  • Ensuring that algorithm requirements are met and provide evidence to support validation.
  • Create testing reports and present the testing results to the customer and algorithm developer (as directed).
