QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
  • Proven experience as a Test Engineer or in a similar quality assurance role.
  • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.
  • Proficiency in test case design, test execution, and defect reporting.
  • Experience with manual and automated testing tools and frameworks.
  • Knowledge of scripting languages for test automation (e.g., Python, Java).
  • Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and collaborative development tools.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

PREFERRED SKILLS

  • Experience with test automation frameworks (e.g., Selenium, JUnit, TestNG).
  • Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
  • Familiarity with agile development methodologies.
  • Understanding of different types of testing (e.g., functional, integration, performance).
  • Previous experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).

Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand software requirements.
  • Design and implement test plans, test cases, and test scripts based on project specifications.
  • Execute manual and automated tests to identify software defects and ensure functionality.
  • Conduct performance testing, stress testing, and regression testing as needed.
  • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot and resolve software issues.
  • Report and document defects, test results, and testing progress.
  • Work closely with quality assurance and development teams to improve testing processes.
  • Stay updated on industry best practices and emerging testing technologies.
  • Participate in the planning and execution of testing phases for software development projects.
