BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree and 4+ years of prior relevant experience or a Master’s degree with 2+ years of prior relevant experience: OR additional years of experience in lieu of degree.
  • Must be a US Citizen
  • Must have an active DoD TS clearance with the ability to obtain TS/SCI.
  • Experience working with embedded systems.
  • Experience working in a SIL and HWIL environment.
  • Ability to liaise with, speak and present effectively to personnel at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a test team.
  • Demonstrated test plan and test report writing skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and execute test plans and test reporting.
  • Experience in data collection and analysis to verify accuracy of test objectives met.
  • Strong desire to grow and learn new technologies.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in writing and verbally from informal one-on-one discussions or in a small group environment.
  • Ability to work within a dynamic work environment, ability to handle multiple tasks at once (multi-task).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Active DoD TS/SCI clearance
  • Datalink/Mesh Network testing experience
  • COMSEC Experience
  • Familiar with Agile Methodologies, preferably SCRUM or Kanban
  • Experience with Atlassian tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Zephyr, TestRail

Responsibilities
  • Works with the project team to ensure testability of software and system requirements and capabilities.
  • Troubleshoots software & systems
  • Applies appropriate principles, standards, processes, procedures and tools throughout the software development life cycle.
  • Duties include software requirements analysis, analysis of hardware compatibility, development of software products and tools used for design, development and maintenance of infrastructure, and platforms
  • Collaborate with Test Team members over execution of the test process.
  • Collaborates with the Cybersecurity team as required to support the RMF process
  • Creates test plan and procedures for embedded software to verify capabilities and requirements; including interface testing.
  • May brief parties external to the organization (e.g., sub-contractors, vendors, etc.)
