QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, or a related field
  • 2+ years in a test or product validation environment
  • Background in RF systems, test automation, or microwave engineering
  • Experience with instrumentation (VNAs, power meters, etc.)
  • Programming skills in Python, LabVIEW, or similar platforms
  • Strong communication and coordination skills with a hands-on mindset
    Job Types: Full-time, Permanent
    Pay: $70,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Responsibilities

ROLE OVERVIEW

We are looking for Test Engineers to support the development and qualification of satellite systems at our Montreal facility. You’ll work within a cross-functional team to design, implement, and operate automated test platforms that ensure RF and power systems meet performance standards before launch.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Work with engineering teams to define testing strategies and validation plans
  • Translate system requirements into executable test procedures
  • Design and develop automated test sequences and data handling tools
  • Write, execute, and maintain detailed test documentation and reports
  • Lead or contribute to test campaigns in areas including:
  • RF validation (PIM, Nearfield, Compact Antenna Test Range)
  • Power electronics and burn-in cycles
  • Environmental testing (thermal and mechanical)
  • Alignment and metrology verification
  • Organize and direct technicians during on-site test execution
