THE JOB:

As a Test Engineer, you will be responsible for the build, maintenance, testing, and optimisation of innovative equipment for our green methanol plant. You will work closely with a dynamic team of scientists and engineers to ensure equipment is tested and meets both customer specifications and international regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities
  • Build & Maintain: Construct test rigs and equipment, ensuring they are at build standard and ready for testing.
  • Test Planning & Execution: Develop and manage test plans, protocols, and procedures for complex hydrothermal systems.
  • Performance Testing: Conduct functional, performance, and reliability testing on mechanical, electrical, and process systems.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyse test data to evaluate system performance, identify issues, and support design improvements.
  • Troubleshooting: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve equipment issues through root cause analysis.
  • Documentation: Maintain detailed test records and ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback to enhance product quality and operational efficiency.
  • Compliance & Safety: Ensure testing activities align with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
  • Team Collaboration: Work with design, engineering, and production teams to align testing requirements with project goals.
