QUALIFICATIONS

  • Minimum Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE), Engineering

Technology or related majors, or with a minimum of three-year EMC/EMI/RF/Product Safety testing experience

  • Excellent communication skills and fluent in English language Highly organized and detailed oriented
  • Good computer skills
  • Good time management skills
  • Knowledge of test equipment operation

Responsibilities
  • Perform testing to a variety of samples using prescribed testing methods by following various testing standards/specifications such as FCC, IC, ETSI, NCC, UL, CSA, IEC, etc.
  • Apply electronics/electrical engineering experience, and/or knowledge of electromagnetic field, low voltage, radio frequency, signal processing, etc., to understand and apply the above standards for testing.
  • Perform testing using measurement instruments such as spectrum analyzers, signal generator, cellular call boxes (Rohde & Schwartz CMW 500, Agilent E5515C (8960), etc.)
  • Hands-on skills to disassemble and re-assemble electronic and electro-mechanical devices.
  • General laboratory maintenance, including keeping it clean and tidy
  • Read and understand technical documents such as specification datasheet, radio operational description, and electrical engineering drawings, including schematics, layouts, etc.
  • Capable of soldering and making mechanical connections
  • Maintain high level of accuracy when recording data, and preparing test reports
  • Communicate with customers and deliver information about testing clearly and accurately. Work with customers to resolve issues from sample setup, testing/construction review, and/or report generation.
  • Ability to work under pressure and complete projects on time
