What You Will Do:   Identify and log SW defects on the platform through Structured, Exploratory, and Regression Testing.Review, Analysis, and test case creation Test case maintenance in compliance with software evolution, requirements, and traceability tracking Detailed analysis of reported problems, bug analysis, bug verification, and tracking. Perform regular reviews and conduct retrospection meetings to achieve high-quality results. Independently handle both Vehicle testing and bench testing request. Collaborate with various test teams to improvise and evolve existing test strategies. Identify, plan, and perform manual and automated software testing. Perform session-based exploratory testing. Identify, plan, and perform endurance-based testing or life testing to verify functionality over a long period of ignition cycles. Identify software issues and transfers problem issues into the issue tracking system with supporting log files and data. Record, process, and analyze data with PC-based tools and test instrumentation. Provide technical support for the resolution of various customer and interdepartmental issues on an as-needed basis. Participation in internal and external test drives with customer participation   What You Need:   Bachelor’s degree in engineering or other similar specialization 3+ years Testing experience. Good understanding of Embedded System and Automotive Products. Good understanding of Automotive Infotainment systems. Understand the SW and HW architecture of various platform variants. Have a good understanding of the technical aspects of a wide range of equipment, including computers, software, and hardware. Good knowledge and understanding of the different Telematics domains like OTA, GNSS, E-Call, Positioning, 4G/5G, Wifi Good knowledge of Diagnose protocols UDS, SOVD Good experience in system test methods, processes, error management and tools. Familiar with Jira, Confluence, MS Office, and database administration tools Knowledge of standard industry communication protocols: CAN, LIN, Ethernet etc Team player skills with a “can do” attitude. Understanding about diagnosis topics of a vehicle and about diagnostic communication protocols used in electronic control units. Knowledge of the V-model software development process ISTQB Certification and ASPICE knowledge Programming knowledge is a plus.   What is Nice to Have:   Working knowledge of Android and Linux Experience in Agile/SCRUM HW experience with configuration different setups Knowledge in ALM is beneficial.
