POSITION OVERVIEW

This Test Engineer role involves planning and executing RF measurement campaigns for high-power and small-signal devices, troubleshooting complex test setups, and collaborating with design teams to ensure products meet stringent performance and compliance specifications.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
  • 5+ years of RF test engineering or equivalent relevant experience.
  • Hands-on expertise in s-parameters, high-power RF, pulsed power, harmonics, adjacent-channel power (ACP), and modulation testing.
  • Experience with RF Loadpull Systems
  • Proficiency with RF test equipment calibration and operation.
  • Advanced data analysis skills using Microsoft Excel and scripting languages.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement detailed test plans for high-power RF and small-signal S-parameter measurements.
  • Calibrate, maintain, and operate RF sources, spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, vector network analyzers, pulse generators, power meters, power supplies, and digital multimeters.
  • Troubleshoot hardware and software issues in RF test systems with minimal supervision.
  • Automate data acquisition, analysis, and reporting using Excel (macros), Python, or similar tools.
  • Assemble prototypes, including soldering SMT components and fabricating custom test fixtures.
  • Review and interpret test data alongside engineering teams to validate device performance against specifications.
  • Document test procedures, results, and anomalies in technical reports.
