Description
Job Responsibility: 1. Collaborate with global engineering team to determine test requirements, clarify test objectives, and achieve NPI targets. 2. Execute test plans, define test processes, develop and validate test methods, document test procedures, and set up stations for NPIs. 3. Provide testing support for NPI project builds in manufacturing. Conduct analysis on Gage R&R, test process CPK, uncertainty, as well as monitor test time and yield. 4. Collaborate with the Metrology engineer to ensure product compliance with global standards such as ISO17025. 5. Upgrade test systems by selecting test equipment, developing test code, validating & documenting test methods, and calculating uncertainties, etc. 6. Manage existing test code changes with a version control tool and distribute updates to manufacturing sites in Asia. 7. Maintain current test stations and processes; proactively troubleshoot testing issues and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in test cost and efficiency. 8. Support test equipment maintenance, including audits, calibration, repairs, and failure analysis. 9. Lead or support improvement projects, including test optimization, automation, and AI tool development. 10. Develop test training materials and provide operators with instruction on basic test system troubleshooting; assist production teams in evaluating operator qualifications. 11. Offer on-call engineering support for multi-shift production lines as needed. 12. Conduct international travel as necessary to support global project requirements. Job Qualification: 1. BSEE degree or above in electronics, computer science, or automation. 2. 5+ years of relevant work experience. 3. Proficient in NI LabView and Test Stand programming. 4. Familiar with C, C++, and Python languages. 5. Experience in test automation or AI tool development is a plus 6. Master test equipment communication, control, and metrology standards. 7. Ability to manage multiple projects or complex tasks at the same time. 8. Proficiency in English reading, writing, speaking. 9. Good communication and cooperation skills.
