Description

We are seeking an experienced and results-driven professional to join Valmet’s, IT Transformation's, Lead to Order Process domain Team as Salesforce Test Engineer. In this role, you will ensure the high-quality standards for our applications and integrations. This role involves designing and executing comprehensive test plans, collaborating closely with developers and business stakeholders, and driving continuous improvement in our QA processes. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and passionate about delivering reliable, user-friendly solutions. Areas of responsibility Design, develop, and execute test plans, test cases, and automated test scripts for Salesforce applications. Maintain and create new test automation scripts Identify, document, and track defects; collaborate with developers to ensure timely resolution. Validate deployments across multiple Salesforce environments (sandbox, UAT, production). Work closely with developers, admins, and business stakeholders to align QA processes with project goals. Recommend and implement process improvements to enhance quality and efficiency. Provide clear and actionable QA metrics and reports to stakeholders. Basic requirements of the position Bachelor’s or higher degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Strong understanding of Salesforce platform, including configuration and customization. Experience with QA methodologies, test planning, and defect tracking tools (e.g. Jira). Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks and tools (e.g. Robot Framework, Copado Robotic Testing) Ability to design effective test plans for complex business processes. Excellent written and verbal and written communication skills for clear reporting and collaboration. 3-5 years in QA roles, with at least 1 year focused on Salesforce projects. Preferred Qualifications: Salesforce certifications (e.g., Salesforce Administrator). Testing methodology certifications (e.g. ISTQB, CSTE, CSQA) Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies. Competencies and skills of the position Detail-Oriented: Maintains accuracy and precision in testing and documentation. Approaches problems methodically Takes initiative to improve processes and prevent defects. Works well with cross-functional teams and promotes a culture of quality. Understands the impact of quality on user experience. Keeps up with Salesforce updates and QA automation trends.
