We have an opportunity for a Test Engineer to join us at Honeywell, in Brno, where you will be responsible for test execution for SATCOM products and participate in bring internet connection into the sky. Our team is developing software implemented in antennas and satellite modems implemented in big commercial aircrafts (JetWave, Aspire 400, Aspire 350) as well as small UAVs (Small SATCOM).
Since the invention of autopilot in 1914, we’ve been a leader in innovation for the Air Travel industry. Today, thousands of Honeywell products are used in aircraft and airports around the world. Everyday 140,000 Honeywell air turbine starters bring to life commercial and military aircraft, industrial and marine equipment.

KEY SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS

• Education in technical field
• 2 years’ work experience with software testing, bug reporting and bug fixing
• Advanced command of English language (you will be working with technical documentation in English and communicating with colleagues in Canada)
• General technical background
• Experience with to defining and reviewing test procedures

• Develop and execute test plans, test cases, and test procedures to ensure the quality of the software implemented in our solution, perform the test based on product requirements
• Work with versioning system GIT/SVN and DOOS requirement management system during the whole lifecycle
• Report the results using the ticketing system JIRA
• Be part of a wider team to troubleshoot reported issues
• Contribute to the improvement of testing processes and methodologies
