THE ROLE

Together with the testing team, you will play a key role in ensuring the quality of our charging solutions and directly contribute to our mission to revolutionize transportation.

Responsibilities in this role will include

• Creating, executing, and documenting test scenarios for the validation and verification of charging solutions
• Executing firmware release tests to ensure quality, functionality and seamless integration of components
• Working together with hardware and software engineers to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues
• Maintaining test infrastructures and actively enhancing system testing practices for continuous improvement

The position will be adjusted based on the selected candidate’s experience and skills, ranging from Test Engineer to Senior Test Engineer.
The testing team works primarily in our testing facilities at Lahti headquarters, occasional remote workdays can be discussed. Also, occasional travel may be required to support our global initiatives.

WHAT HELPS YOU SUCCEED IN THIS ROLE

• 5+ years of experience in testing.
• Degree in computer science, engineering or equivalent
• Practical experience in testing embedded systems, IoT devices, or other cloud-connected, hardware-software integrated products.
• Understanding of agile product development practices
• Familiarity with fundamental electronics principles such as voltage, current, resistance and power
• Familiarity with Embedded Linux and networked systems and the knowledge of test automation tools and test reporting frameworks are considered a plus
• A proactive attitude towards learning new skills and technologies
• Team player mentality and collaborative mindset with a strong sense of teamwork, active knowledge sharing, and seamless cross-functional cooperation.
• Valid drivers’ license (B) as you will be testing our charging solutions with electric vehicles
