JOB SUMMARY:

Supermicro Computer Inc is currently seeking System Test Engineers to join the Rack Solutions team, who can do complete server configuration check, performance test, packing check, and familiar with Linus OS for server, switch, add on card test …etc. Familiar with Linux shell script programing, and server hardware datasheet (GPU, AOC, NIC, CPU, DIMM, HDD…), and make judgment on testing result.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • BSCS/BSCE or MSCS/MSCE with 2 years of working experience in hardware testing is preferred
  • Strong troubleshooting skills at Linux server system testing and debugging
  • Dedication, Job responsibility are must for this job
  • Skill on Shell Scripts, Python programming and Network (Ethernet/Infiniband) is a plus
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office and able to generate test report
  • Strong attention to details, including accuracy and thoroughness
  • Solid communications skills both verbal and written
  • Able to work independently and be a good team player

  • Perform Testing for production, warehouse, rack integration and server sample systems
  • Review and analyze failure logs, and follow up with related personnel
  • Work with cross-functional teams for system testing and assist in product development
  • Generate test report and record the complete test process, configuration, findings and results
  • Occasional on-site installation/testing
