Job Overview: We are looking for a highly skilled and detail-oriented Test Engineer. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with both white-box and black-box testing methods and will play a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software applications. You will work closely with development teams to create test plans, design test cases, execute tests, and ensure that products meet the highest standards of quality before release.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 3+ years of experience as an Application/Functional Tester.
• Hands-on experience with both white-box (code-level) and black-box (functional) testing techniques.
• Strong understanding of testing methodologies, including functional, integration, regression, and acceptance testing.
• Experience with test case design, execution, and defect management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail).
• Familiarity with automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QTP, JUnit).
• Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Experience in the Command and Control domain is a plus.

• Perform manual and automated functional testing on applications to ensure software quality and reliability.
• Design and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
• Conduct both white-box and black-box testing to assess the functionality, security, and performance of the software.
• Collaborate with developers, product managers, and other stakeholders to ensure test requirements are understood and met.
• Identify, document, and track software defects, working with the development team to resolve issues.
• Perform regression testing to ensure that new software releases do not introduce new issues.
• Analyze and report on testing results, ensuring that issues are properly prioritized and addressed.
• Contribute to the development and enhancement of test frameworks, tools, and processes.
• Participate in review meetings to understand application requirements and design test strategies.
• Work with the development team to validate new features, updates, and fixes before they are released.Stay current with testing trends, techniques, and tools, and integrate new methods to improve testing effectiveness and efficiency.
