SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in a Payroll or Absence operational role, such as Payroll Manager, Specialist, or Coordinator.
  • Strong understanding of UK & ROI HR and Payroll systems and processes.
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication skills to collaborate with technical and non-technical team members.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to new tools and methodologies in software testing.

NON-TECHNICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Are you a Payroll or Absence professional seeking a new challenge? We’re offering an exciting opportunity to transition into the world of software testing. Join our dynamic engineering team and apply your operational expertise to ensure the quality and reliability of our flagship ResourceLink application—a vital tool for HR and Payroll professionals.
In this role, you’ll leverage your deep understanding of Payroll or Absence processes to contribute to the continuous improvement of our software. Through comprehensive training and mentorship, you’ll develop the skills necessary to excel in software testing, playing a crucial role in enhancing our product’s performance and user experience.

AS A TEST ENGINEER, YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE:

  • Collaborating with the Test Engineering Lead, Engineering Lead, and Product Management team to understand testing objectives.
  • Learning and applying testing standards to create and update test cases.
  • Analyzing test results, reviewing test data, and identifying issues to ensure product quality.
  • Assisting in regression planning and providing accurate effort estimates for testing activities.
  • Developing high-level test plans for product features, ensuring test data requirements are well defined.
  • Communicating regularly with team members and stakeholders to ensure alignment on design and solutions.
