Job Summary We are seeking a Test Engineer and Metrology responsible for supervising and coordinating the fabrication and testing of apparatus and equipment in the aerospace or energetic materials field. In this role, you will collaborate closely with engineering and technical teams to resolve testing challenges, oversee the development and calibration of test equipment, and ensure all test activities support new product development programs. Key Responsibilities: Provide supervision in fabrication of testing and test control apparatus and equipment. Responsible for coordinating and communicating all test activities to support NPD programs. Directs and coordinates activities relevant to development, identification, procurement, installation, verification, and calibration of upgraded test equipment and instrumentation and control devices required to test, record, and reduce test data. Determines conditions, and schedules under which tests are to be conducted. Generates qualification test plans, procedures and reports (QTP’s and QTR’s). Generates Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP’s). Analyzes and interprets test data and preparation of test reports for submittal to management and PSEMC customers. Confers with engineering and technical personnel to resolve testing problems, such as product or system malfunctions, equipment problems, incomplete test data, and/or data interpretation. Perform as a leader in the role of test efficiency and cycle time reduction efforts. Train technicians to perform product testing. Assist with sub-contract cost and labor estimations for contract proposals. Generate Work Orders, Statements of Work, and Requisition for sub-contracted testing. Interface with sub-contractor representatives to insure that PSEMC requirements and schedules are met. Perform other related duties as assigned. Knowledgeable of Solid Works. Qualifications: B.S. Degree in Engineering or Aerospace 1-3 years' experience in the aerospace or energetic materials field, preferably in a production or product development atmosphere. Bonus or Equity This position is also eligible for bonus as part of the total compensation package. Pay Range The salary range for this position (in local currency) is 81,200.00 - 150,800.00 Is this role subject to ITAR?
