THE OPPORTUNITY

We are seeking an experienced and seasoned Test Equipment Hardware Engineer to join our dynamic team developing next-generation space systems. This is a broad and impactful role requiring strong technical expertise, innovation, and problem-solving across the full lifecycle of test equipment development. You will be instrumental in supporting the verification and validation of our space hardware by designing and maintaining cutting-edge lab test solutions.

EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:

  • Proven experience as a Test Equipment Hardware Engineer in aerospace, defence, or high-reliability electronics environments.
  • Deep understanding of the full lifecycle of test equipment: concept, design, integration, verification, and support.
  • Strong hands-on experience with lab instrumentation, signal routing, data acquisition, and test automation interfaces.
  • Familiarity with relevant standards and design principles for electrical and mechanical test systems.
  • Ability to troubleshoot complex hardware issues and work independently across varied technical domains.
Responsibilities
  • Design innovative hardware test solutions to support verification of space-bound components and systems.
  • Build robust, scalable test equipment with precision and reliability.
  • Test systems to ensure functionality, reliability, and compliance with space-grade performance requirements.
  • Maintain and calibrate test equipment to ensure consistent and accurate performance over time.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with systems, hardware, and software teams to understand test needs and integrate solutions seamlessly.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement of test processes, tooling, and documentation.
