Responsibilities

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING

You’ll be accountable for the planning, readiness and execution of test activities, for the Experimental, Flight Compliance and Pre-Production engine programmes for the Global Test sites including Development Rigs.

  • Delivery of Engineering projects, on time and to budget.
  • Manage project requirements to enable planning, interpreting, organising, executing, and the coordination of test activities to meet customer objectives.
  • Act as the technical interface communicating the project status (budget, schedule and risk) to stakeholders.
  • Provide coaching/support to engineers on technical issues relating to the planning, readiness, and execution of engine testing.
  • Maintaining a holistic understanding of the test facility capability in relation to project deliverables. With the aim of reducing project risk by challenging the design solution, to ensure it meets agreed requirements.

  • Degree level qualification preferable or equivalent industry experience.
  • Member of a professional body and working towards a APMPQ qualification or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years’ experience in technical project management.
  • Previous experience in development or experimental disciplines.
  • Good Communication skills
