About the role – Full-time, 12-month fixed term contract Be part of our transformation journey and join us as a Test Lead and help shape the digital banking experience that powers our members every day. This is a high-impact Test Lead role where you will shape and drive the end-to-end quality strategy across complex, enterprise-wide programs. You’ll lead and uplift a high-performing QA team while embedding modern testing practices, including automation and shift-left approaches. Partnering with senior stakeholders, you’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless digital customer experience. With strong visibility and influence, this role offers the opportunity to transform QA capability and drive continuous improvement at scale. Key responsibilities include:   * Lead and shape the end-to-end Test Management function, building and embedding testing frameworks, strategies, and governance across a high-impact program/value stream. * Own quality outcomes across the delivery lifecycle, overseeing SIT, UAT, and regression phases while ensuring high standards of test coverage, controls, and execution. * Inspire and develop a high-performing QA team, coaching testers and driving capability uplift across manual, automation, and non-functional testing * Partner closely with senior stakeholders and program leadership, acting as the key bridge between business, delivery, and technology to ensure testing aligns with strategic outcomes. * Drive QA maturity and innovation, championing shift-left testing, automation, and reusable test assets through the QA Community of Practice. * Deliver data-driven insights and risk visibility, presenting test analytics, defect trends, and quality metrics to enable informed decision-making. About you  This is more than delivery; you’ll define test strategy, uplift QA practices, and influence how quality is engineered across programs and value streams. You will succeed in this role if you have: * Proven Test Lead experience with the ability to own end-to-end test management across complex programs or value streams. * Strong people leadership skills, with a track record of building, coaching, and uplifting high-performing QA teams * Deep expertise in test strategy, planning, and execution across SIT, UAT, regression, and Agile/Waterfall delivery models * Ability to translate business and technical requirements into testable outcomes, ensuring clear acceptance criteria and coverage * Experience driving QA maturity and continuous improvement, including shift-left testing, automation, and reusable test practices. * Strong analytical and risk-based testing mindset, with the ability to provide insights through test metrics, defect trends, and quality reporting Location Whilst our primary office locations are in Adelaide and Brisbane, we are pleased to be able to consider applications from employees within Australia for this role.
