Job Description Test Manager - Must have Telco / Transport or Network Infrastructure experience **DUE TO BACKGROUND CHECKS, I CAN ONLY ACCEPT APPLICANTS WITH 3 YEARS UK ADDRESS HISTORY WHICH IS MANDATORY** Location: Milton Keynes / Hybrid - 2 days a week in Milton Keynes Contract Type: Permanent Salary: up to £80K plus benefits Reporting To: Programme Manager / Head of Delivery Role Overview We’re hiring a seasoned Test Manager to lead the creation and assurance of a comprehensive Project Test Strategy. This strategy will be a key component of the tender pack used to onboard a delivery partner and must align with customer testing standards and protocols. You’ll work closely with internal programme teams, third-party vendors, and delivery partners to ensure all testing activities meet the highest standards of quality and compliance. Key Responsibilities Develop and gain approval for the Project Test Strategy Ensure alignment with customer testing standards and the customers protocols Oversee quality assurance and witness testing of delivery partner outputs Collaborate with delivery partners to ensure compliance with testing methodologies Engage with internal stakeholders and third-party vendors to coordinate testing activities Maintain rigorous documentation and reporting throughout the test lifecycle Required Experience Proven experience in Test Programme Management Knowledge of telecoms within transport industry, especially: Network deployment and service migration Service transition planning Strong background in writing detailed test strategies for: FAT, SAT, SYS, SIT, PEN, PERF, OAT, UAT, Regression, Business Continuity, Early Life Support Extensive experience in Quality Assurance of third-party test deliverables Deep understanding of Test Methodologies and Processes Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Resilience under pressure and tight deadlines Strong customer-facing communication and stakeholder management skills Background in manual testing Desirable Skills Experience in security testing within Critical National Infrastructure (CNI) environments Familiarity with CHECK testing vendors Personal Attributes Self-starter with a proactive approach Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills Strong interpersonal and communication abilities Comfortable working in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment #TestManager #SoftwareTesting #QualityAssurance #TelecomJobs #RailIndustry #TransportTechnology #ProjectDelivery #TestStrategy #NetworkDeployment #CNI #CHECKTesting #ManualTesting #UAT #SIT #FAT #SAT #TechJobsUK #HiringNow #JobSearchUK #LinkedInJobs
